The blue stone is coming along nicely. The latest application is on the front porch. We’ve also gotten our stair treads and risers, which are a single piece, for a nice look.
The stone fabricators installed their first countertop last week. As you can see, the cabinet painters are getting preparing to paint the cabinets, which will start next week, after the holiday.
We wanted our exterior surfaces to be as low maintenance as possible. In the house I owned when Lisa and I met, there was about 1800 square feet of redwood deck. We received delivery of the blue stone for our outdoor decks, covered patios, and stairs last week. There is quite a bit of it. We’ve got quite a bit of tile work that needs to be done. The first thing the tile guys are going to start on are the showers.
