We’ve got a great chicken coop, and have some movable fences we use to create a larger area to let the chickens out in from time to time.  We finally settled on a more permanent “yard” area around the coop and our shed.

Wanting something more permanent, we had a fence built, partly inspired by the front yard fence of a house down the street.

The end result turned out very nice.

One neat feature we added is an inner gate the blocks off the run around the coop and forces the chicken into the run.

This comes in very useful when the chickens just won’t cooperate.  There have been a few times where I’ve had to chase them around and around before finally catching them one by one to put into the run at night.
