At long last, our driveway is complete and are able to park our cars in the garage.

All that remains is the apron, sidewalk, and gutter at the mouth of our driveway, which all needs to be installed due to the fact that we turned a normal sidewalk into our new driveway, as it was moved from one side of the property on the street to the opposite one.

Ahem, and, we need to seriously sort through all the crap in our garage.  It has been a dumping ground for everything that didn’t go anywhere else, for about a year now.  Last week we had the painters remove all of their remaining gear, we moved the extra paint to our pool house mechanical room, and donated the extra nails, brackets, etc. to another construction project.

We still reflexively head towards the front door when we are leaving, but we’ll get used to it.  Once the landscaping is done, we can power wash the house and get all that dirt off.
