It’s been over two months since my last entry on the house progress.  It was partly the business of the holidays with six family members visiting, and Christmas with three kids, partly another major plumbing issue slash disaster, and part just plain fatigue with all things building and our house; it’s been almost three years since we started construction, and almost six years since we started planning for our new house.

It’s also been somewhat of a slower progress time, with crews taking time off for the holidays, and lots of rain to thwart progress.  So far this water year, we’ve had just over 17 inches of rain, or 95% of our typical water year.  And for us, February is usually one of our wettest months.  In the last four weeks alone, we’ve had around 12 inches of rain.

So we are still making progress, and are closed to finishing than ever.  Or, as I like to say it, we are almost done … continuously.  We are now hoping for major completion in March.
