The tree farm showed up early today and dropped in the largest specimen tree we are installing, a pretty good sized fruitless olive. I saw them pull up on the street.
First, they put the tree upright and dropped it into the hole for placement and depth measurement.
If you look at the chains above, you’ll notice that they go around the sides, and not the bottom. This so they can take the bottom off before they set the tree, which they did next.
Then they set the tree into the final position after some small adjustments to the depth of the hole.
The sides were removed, and the hole back filled. Voila, a new tree.
