The tile guys have been working on the back porch stone for a few weeks now, interrupted by the fact that we fell short of one size of stone and had to order more.
Here is the sub-slab.
Partial progress.
Today, they’ve finished the stone laying and are grinding the joints to make them even.
After this is done it can be grouted, and then sealed.
We still have some other items that need to be done. Here is a little stone at the front steps.
The first riser could not be poured in concrete, and, as it turns out, it looks pretty cool in stone.
We also have the outside stairs to complete, for which we had to order 5 more slabs of blue stone, which must then be cut into the proper sizes for treads and risers.
