We have a three story stair set that goes from our basement to our 2nd floor.  Over the last two months, we’ve had carpenters here on and off installing the railing, and a few weeks ago the flooring contractor installed the stair treads and risers.  There is quite a bit of painting to do there.

The painters created a three story paint booth, to control dust, wind, and the paint fumes, and the stairs are blocked at every level.  Her is the first floor.

It has been quite inconvenient, and I am glad it is almost done.  The upstairs rooms are all but blocked off to work (plumbing, electrical, carpentry) for almost a week, and traffic around the rest of the house has to go around the blockage.  I can’t wait to see the stairs when they are all done and unmasked.
