The cabinet makers installed quite a bit of the kitchen mill work last week.  The scale of our kitchen is really coming into view.  Wow, we have a lot of counter space.  In the foreground is where the island will go.

This was finished a week ago but I was also struck by the entire view of the all of our master bedroom.  It really looks nice with all the cabinets in.

Also of note, the carpenters finished the last of the box beams, in the dining room.

You can just see the patch, at the top of that last picture where the speaker was.  We seem to have forgotten about the box beams when we placed the speakers on that room, but have since moved them to the soffit on the left.
