The pool house is inching along. One of the difficulties with the pool house is that it has a lot going on. Among the normal stuff, we have a bathroom, outdoor shower, and electrical sub panel.
But there are also a number of elements that make this a lot more complicated than just a small pool outbuilding. In this case, a picture is worth 1,000 words.
In the back of the structure, we have a place for the pool equpment, and there seems to be quite a bit of plumbing and electrical required.
We also have a very large 4 inch gas line (the yellow one) on the right side. Not only do we need gas for heating the pool, but we will have a small tank-less water heater, and we are planning for the future possibility of a gas-powered backup generator, and, a fuel cell for generating electricity, should residential models ever become available.
Additionally, we have to undermine the foundation of the old fireplace somewhat to shore it up. The concrete guys have started to ready for the foundation pour, which will hopefully happen next week.
