We move in next week.  Let me say that again.  We move in next week!

In ancticipation, we’ve started pulling the Ram Board from the floors, in preparation for the post-construction cleaning, which starts tomorrow.  It is a bit like unboxing a new house, as we are seeing all the rooms complete for the first time.

It is a bit bittersweet, as we have several months more to go with the landscaping.  Our temporary rental is ending as the owners want to move back into their house, so we figured the best option was to move into the house despite the landscaping.

The landscaping crew is on the job, and we have confidence it will be done sooner than later, and will look nice.  For the duration, we’ll be running the AC instead of opening windows (a lot of dust comes off of a dirt lot).  As of the middle of next week, we’ll have a front walk to get to the house from the street without going over dirt, which will be a huge improvement.
