I mentioned the large pile of back fill dirt in the discussion about waterproofing.

We can’t get rid of that pile until we do the back fill, which is waiting on the waterproofing to finish.  But, because of that pile of dirt, we can’t get a crane in place to drop in the structural steel that needs to be embedded in the concrete slab. So, we are a bit stuck on making progress on the slab until the waterproofing is done.

Hopefully, once the dirt pile is gone, and all the area around the basement walls is filled in again, that will give us plenty of storage space and make movement around the site easier.
