Two weeks ago the driveway mouth was poured, and what a difference.<\/p>\n

Here it is being formed …<\/p>\n

We wanted to put our kids hand prints in it, but the inspector said no.\u00a0 However, he did say we could put a stamp of some sort, like contractors used to.\u00a0 I happened to have a relief version of our family crest, which we pushed into the wet cement.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, when it was dry and we power-washed off the top to give it that etched concrete look, a lot of the relief went away.\u00a0 But in the right light, you can still see it.<\/p>\n
