We put in a pretty massive wall between us and our neighbors – at least, that is what it looks like from our side.<\/p>\n

Because we remove some soil so that our back yard would be walk-out level from the back of our house, we now have a grade change between the two properties.\u00a0 Here is the other side of the above picture.<\/p>\n

There is still a little soil to be removed there, but as you can see, quite a difference.<\/p>\n

We plan on restoring the higher grade in the form of a planter on our side of the wall.\u00a0 Here is an example of what it will look like when that is done.<\/p>\n

The point of the wall is for privacy, so that the two houses, and yards, won’t be looking at each other.\u00a0 Privacy will be further accomplished by hedges along the property lines on both sides of our house.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
