We decided that we liked the idea of polished concrete in our basement rather than laying down flooring – wood, carpet, tile, etc – and it is a lot cheaper, coming in at $2 \/ sq ft versus $5-7 for carpet and around $14 for wood.\u00a0 As we near the end of the project, we are looking for every opportunity to save a little money.<\/p>\n
