We’ve got a great chicken coop, and have some movable fences we use to create a larger area to let the chickens out in from time to time.\u00a0 We finally settled on a more permanent “yard” area around the coop and our shed.<\/p>\n

Wanting something more permanent, we had a fence built, partly inspired by the front yard fence of a house down the street.<\/p>\n

The end result turned out very nice.<\/p>\n

One neat feature we added is an inner gate the blocks off the run around the coop and forces the chicken into the run.<\/p>\n

This comes in very useful when the chickens just won’t cooperate.\u00a0 There have been a few times where I’ve had to chase them around and around before finally catching them one by one to put into the run at night.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
