guest room kitchenette"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Before we knew it would take 6+ years to design, permit, and build our new house, we thought it might be nice to have a room that would be appropriate for a live-in Au-per as we had just had our third child.\u00a0 We figured anyone in that position would appreciate having their own little kitchenette, so we included those on our plans.<\/p>\n<p>But when push came to shove, and we wanted to be done with our project, we decided not to install the kitchenette at that time.<\/p>\n<p>Enough time has passed now that we decided it was time to complete the kitchenette for what is now our basement guest room, and here it is, compliments of Ikea.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full college, I lived in a studio apartment for 4 1\/2 years that didn&#8217;t have this nice (or as big) of a kitchen.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, we added a little storage closet around the corner, as a
