The tile guys have been working on the back porch stone for a few weeks now, interrupted by the fact that we fell short of one size of stone and had to order more.<\/p>\n

Here is the sub-slab.<\/p>\n

Today, they’ve finished the stone laying and are grinding the joints to make them even.<\/p>\n

After this is done it can be grouted, and then sealed.<\/p>\n

We still have some other items that need to be done.\u00a0 Here is a little stone at the front steps.<\/p>\n

The first riser could not be poured in concrete, and, as it turns out, it looks pretty cool in stone.<\/p>\n

We also have the outside stairs to complete, for which we had to order 5 more slabs of blue stone, which must then be cut into the proper sizes for treads and risers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
