<\/p>\nIt’s been quite a process settling on a cabinet maker.\u00a0 We received initial bids from three different companies and then went through an extensive back and forth negotiation to try and get the price down to what we could afford, and to figure out who we thought would give us the best end result.\u00a0 We have a lot of built-ins and cabinets so this was not a small task<\/p>\n
In the end, we removed some of the built-ins and revised some of the designs to get the cost down to what we could afford, and chose a builder we are very excited to work with.<\/p>\n
Initially, our designer put together some elevations of all the mill work, which we used for rough framing.\u00a0 For example, here is the original elevation of one side of the kids craft room in the basement.<\/p>\n
